The Black knight by Francesca Bianchi
Back in the time when there was a mercenary culture, a person was paid to fight for a country or group where he did not belong. There was a kid in northern Italy who had his first murder at the age of 12. He was Giovanni Delle, Master of the Black mercenary band. The perfume TBK is supposed to be inspired by him.
TBK is an absolute paradise for the fine gentlemen, the modern knights. Imagine a muscular stallion with a fine quality leather saddle and an armored knight. Let me make it easy: think of Geralt of Rivia.
Thinking of taking a rest for the day and setting up a fire. The burning woods, forest-earthy smell, the smell of the knight, a little animalic and leatherier due to Armor and horse saddle. He opens the leather bag, which was tied to the horse's back. There was a rose, almost dried. The one which his mistress had given to him when he was leaving the town. He took it and had a deep smell of it and thought, some people are not meant to be loved, but still, they get the love.
TBK is for those who have chest hair, a full beard, or a clean-shaven, not patchy beard. Those who like leather boots instead of Crocs, and those who don’t wear pink shirts.
I must mention the backend heroes of this scent, Vetiver and rose. Although the leather is prominent from top to bottom, these two notes provide a balanced support to it. If you are bored with the oud/rose combination, give it a try with leather/rose.
It will be a crime if we discuss the performance of the FBs.
Official notes:
Leather, Orris Root, Honey, Beeswax, Vetiver, Oakmoss, Patchouli, Caraway, Artemisia, Narcissus, Cedar, Bulgarian Rose
